Rytanna Mee Kosam program 2025 has been launched in Andhra Pradesh and farmer awareness work has already started across villages. This new state scheme is being run to explain Panchasutras to every farmer in a simple way.

Panchasutras are five clear points made for farming to become more profitable, safe and modern. This fresh campaign will reach farmer homes, give easy information and guide all farming families like dairy, poultry, aquaculture and others.

CM Chandrababu Naidu said that for the last 17 months, the state has been working nonstop to improve farming systems. Under Annadata Sukhibhava and PM Kisan, financial support of 14,000 rupees for each farmer has already been given in two parts, covering almost 46.5 lakh farmers with 6,310 crore rupees total.

This program will also educate farmers on water saving, natural farming, soil testing, food processing and modern farm technology. Government teams will personally visit every house and talk about the new approach.

Panchasutras are five simple guiding points for farmers. These points help in saving money, getting better yield, improving soil and increasing market value.

  • Water security means proper use and saving of water through planned systems so fields always get enough water.
  • Demand based cropping helps farmers choose the right crops based on market needs so income becomes better.
  • Use of agritech means adopting machines, tools and apps that reduce hard work and increase farm output.
  • Food processing support helps farmers to add value to their produce so they earn more than raw crop prices.
  • Government support includes schemes, subsidies, training and market connections for all farming families.

Village Visits and Farmer Meetings for Rytanna Mee Kosam

From 24 to 29 November, public representatives and officials will travel to every village. They will visit houses, meet farmers, and talk about Panchasutras in very simple words. This is being planned like a door to door awareness drive.

Workshops will be held on 3 December at all Rythu Seva Kendras. Staff from agriculture, horticulture, sericulture, dairy, poultry, sheep rearing, aquaculture and marketing departments will take part. They will give field-level guidance and clear all doubts.

Support Under Annadata Sukhibhava and PM Kisan

The state highlighted that 14,000 rupees per farmer has already been sent in two parts to support almost 46.5 lakh farmers. This money has helped reduce many money problems for small and big farmers.

Together, schemes like drip irrigation, Polam Pilustondi and Panchasutras are being used to make farming less costly and more profitable.

Benefits of AP Rytanna Mee Kosam Scheme

  • Promotion of Modern and Natural Farming – The CM said that modern farming methods help farmers earn more while natural farming keeps soil rich and healthy. Certified natural produce is also being sold at Rythu Bazaars so farmers get a better price. In Kadapa, many farmers practising natural farming shared that their soil condition and crop quality improved. Fertilizers at Gromor centres cost less, so input cost automatically drops.
  • Food Processing and Market Linkages – Setting up food processing units is one of the strongest points of Panchasutras. When farmers process their produce, the selling price goes up. This gives more income even without increasing land area. The government has also improved water management which helped in filling reservoirs this year. This will support farming in the coming months.
  • Awareness on Pesticide Overuse and Organic Demand – Farmers will be taught about the side effects of using too many pesticides. There is high demand for organic produce outside India, so natural farming can help farmers earn more. Officials will share simple tips on soil testing, crop planning, water saving and government support systems.
