Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana: ₹1,291 crore sent to 37.43 lakh Punjab women
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann transferred ₹1,291 crore to 37.43 lakh women under Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana at a rally in Abohar on Sunday, 1 November 2026. With this round, the state has paid ₹3,934.80 crore so far.
General category women get ₹1,000 a month and SC women get ₹1,500. Money goes straight to the woman's bank account by DBT.
As of 29 October, 80.05 lakh women had registered. Government wants to cover 1 crore. Mann said all registered women will get their next payment on 1 January. Women still left out can do Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana registration through Satkar Sakhis or at Anganwadi centres.
