Committee will coordinate with the Directorate of Funds Organization for prompt allotment of GPF account numbers to employees approved for OPS. It must submit periodic progress reports to the Administrative Secretary, Finance Department, covering cases received, scrutinised and approved, GPF numbers allotted, cases pending with NSDL or the designated CRA, and NPS financial reconciliation. Administrative Departments must check service records, relevant advertisement or notification, and appointment documents, and certify eligibility. Chief Accounts Officer, DGAT, will be Member Secretary and nodal officer for receiving, registering, circulating and monitoring cases. DGAT's NPS Cell will give secretarial, technical and coordination support.
