Short Update
Mizoram to float tenders for 45 roads under PMGSY-IV in November

Mizoram Public Works Department will float tenders for 45 roads in November under the fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-IV).
The announcement came at a review meeting of PMGSY works chaired by Vanlalzuala Chenkual, PWD Chief Engineer (Planning) and MiRRDA Empowered Officer. PWD Engineer-in-Chief and MiRRDA CEO David Sapzova said phase four would start soon.
Sapzova asked officials to finish pending works on time, keep roads and allied infrastructure in good repair and follow quality rules for the phase four projects.
PMGSY-IV was approved in 2024 and gives all-weather road connectivity to 25,000 unconnected habitations by building about 62,500 km of roads. Tenders will be published on the Mizoram PMGSY e-tender portal.
