Bihar flood relief: ₹112.14 crore sent to 1.60 lakh families in second phase
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary sent ₹112.14 crore to 1,60,201 flood-hit families on 12 October 2026. Each family got ₹7,000 through DBT under Bihar Badh Sahayata Yojana, in the second phase of this year's ex gratia relief.
In the first phase on 15 September, ₹614.03 crore went to 8,77,190 families. That takes the total to ₹726.17 crore for 10,37,391 families so far.
The CM told District Magistrates to send details of eligible families who have not got the money yet. An agricultural input subsidy for flood-hit farmers is set to go out on 14 October.
