West Bengal to sign agreement for Purulia airport on September 28
West Bengal government will sign an agreement with the Centre on September 28 to build an airport in Purulia district under the UDAN scheme. Project preparations are complete and the state government has applied for the required licence.
Other scheme updates
Under Annapurna Yojana, 6,56,000 women got their August payments. Also, 16,000 people under the housing scheme received the second payment of ₹60,000, and a list for 2,00,000 new houses is submitted.
