Krishak Bandhu: one member per family, 10 more days for verification form
West Bengal Agriculture Minister Dudh Kumar Mondal said on 28 September 2026 that only one member of a family will now get Krishak Bandhu. Farmers with less than 40 decimal of land will get ₹4,000 a year, and those with more will get ₹10,000.
Existing beneficiaries who have not submitted the verification form get 10 more days to hand it in at the Block Agriculture Office. New Krishak Bandhu farmers will not get PM Kisan, while PM Kisan farmers get ₹3,000 extra from the state. No payment date is announced yet.
