Mahatari Vandan Yojana reaches 68 lakh beneficiaries with Rs 20,075 crore disbursed
Mahatari Vandan Yojana has given 68 lakh women in Chhattisgarh money support. It paid a total of Rs 20,075.38 crore in 31 parts since starting on 10 March 2024. Eligible women get Rs 1,000 every month.
Loan support for women
Under Mahatari Shakti Rin Yojana, 41,124 people got loans for work without needing collateral. These loans total Rs 102.38 crore and help with small jobs like selling vegetables or craft work. The state budget for this year has set aside Rs 8,200 crore for Mahatari Vandan Yojana.
