Dantewada gets Best District award for Pradhan Mantri Krishi Dhan-Dhaanya Yojana

Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh got the Best District award for rolling out Pradhan Mantri Krishi Dhan-Dhaanya Yojana. Union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave the award at the National Agriculture Conference and Award Ceremony in New Delhi.

Collector Devesh Kumar Dhruv and Deputy Director of Agriculture Suraj Kumar Pansari took it for the district. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Agriculture Development and Farmers' Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam praised the farmers and the Agriculture Department team.

Dantewada administration worked hard to reach small and marginal farmers in far-off forest villages. They mixed new tech with old methods, looked after soil health, pushed organic farming, and made sure farm supplies were there.
