156th SLBC meeting reviews banking schemes and credit flow in Tripura
156th State Level Bankers' Committee meeting held on September 14, 2026, checked progress on banking and government schemes in Tripura. Chief Secretary J K Sinha chaired the session, and Reserve Bank of India General Manager Surendra Nidar co-chaired it.
Schemes reviewed
Committee members checked the rollout and loan status for these schemes:
- Kisan Credit Card (KCC)
- PM Vishwakarma
- PMFME
- PM Mudra Yojana
- PM SVANidhi
- Swavalamban
State government, RBI, NABARD, and bank representatives attended to judge banking work across the state.
