UP approves two free LPG refills for Ujjwala beneficiaries in 2026-27
Uttar Pradesh has approved two free LPG refills for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries in 2026-27, at an estimated cost of ₹2,143 crore to the state.
The first refill phase will run from October to December 2026, and the second from January to March 2027. Eligible people need an Aadhaar-linked bank account and must complete Aadhaar authentication. Cabinet approved the decision in Lucknow on 16 October 2026.
