PM Surya Ghar subsidy capped at ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana gives a central subsidy of ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and a capped ₹78,000 for systems of 3 kW and above.
Social News XYZ's explainer says applicants must be Indian citizens and homeowners with an active residential electricity connection, a suitable shadow-free roof and no earlier solar subsidy.
