Odisha Trainee Bhesamati Naik Invited to Rashtrapati Bhavan
Bhesamati Naik, a resident of Tileimal village in Jharsuguda, recently attended the At-Home reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Her story shows the results of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana.
In 2016, Bhesamati finished hospitality training through the scheme. She started working in Ooty with a salary of ₹6,000 per month. She now works as an office attendant at IIM Sambalpur and earns ₹35,000 per month. Her path shows how skill training helps rural youth improve their lives.
