Odisha Signs MoUs to Boost Farmer Income and Digital Services

Odisha government signed agreements with Department of Posts, ICRISAT, and MSSRF to improve rural farming. Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo said these partnerships will help share seeds and improve income for small farmers.

Main features

The scheme includes these points:

• Digital Services: Gramin Dak Sevaks will now help with AgriStack registration, CM KISAN enrollment, PM KISAN e-KYC, and Aadhaar seeding to give everyone digital access.
• Crop Research: Projects under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana will focus on climate-ready pulses and oilseeds through ICRISAT.
• Nayagarh Project: A three-year program with MSSRF will support 3,000 farmers. It uses bio-fortified crops, poultry, and fish farming to improve family nutrition.
