MP Swamitva Scheme: 27 Patwaris Dismissed, 21 Suspended Over Free Property Registration

Madhya Pradesh government has taken disciplinary action against 48 patwaris linked to the Swamitva Scheme. This includes 27 dismissals and 21 suspensions.

This action comes after patwaris protested their role in the free registration of 50 lakh rural properties. Rewa saw the highest number of suspensions, with 15 patwaris affected.

District-wise breakdown

• Dismissed: Agar-Malwa (5), Ujjain (4), Shajapur (4), Ratlam (4), Mandsaur (4), Dewas (3), Neemuch (3)
• Suspended: Rewa (15), Guna (4), Ratlam (2)

MP Patwari Association has announced a shutdown of revenue work in the affected districts. Protests have already disrupted operations in several areas, including Dewas.
