MP Patwari Sangh resumes Swamitva Yojana work from October 12

Madhya Pradesh Patwari Sangh has agreed to resume Swamitva Yojana work from October 12. This came after a meeting with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Bhopal on October 9.
The association had objected to being named as an executant on property registration documents due to legal liability worries. The government assured that orders on legal protection and duties would be released.
Swamitva Yojana helps rural property owners get formal ownership records. In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has planned free registration for about 50 lakh rural properties under the campaign.
Earlier reports stated that surveys covering 68.47 lakh plots across 41,568 villages were done.
