Short Update
Kisan Credit Card and PM MUDRA Yojana loans now accessible via UPI

Borrowers of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and PM MUDRA Yojana can now use their approved credit limits for merchant payments through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Department of Financial Services Secretary Sanjay Lohiya announced this update, which lets users pay using existing credit lines right at the shop.

This service works under the Reserve Bank of India Credit Line on UPI rules. It is not for new loans but helps you use credit that you already have. How you use it depends on your bank rules, your eligibility, and if the shop accepts this payment.
Scale of coverage
The system supports over 7.7 crore active KCC accounts with approved limits over ₹10 lakh crore. PM MUDRA Yojana has more than 57 crore loans with total lending of more than ₹40 lakh crore.
