PM Surya Ghar Yojana reaches 50 lakh households milestone
PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana has provided rooftop solar installations to more than 50 lakh households by August 2026. This scheme gives money help up to about ₹80,000 for each household. Government data shows 14.8 GW of rooftop solar capacity is set up under this scheme, which aims to cover one crore households.
PM-KUSUM status
PM-KUSUM has helped set up solar pumps on the farms of about 30 lakh farmers.
