Delhi Government Launches Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana for Girls
Delhi government launched Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana to help girls in the city. This scheme gives cash support of 56,000 rupees in different payments. It starts at birth and goes on until the girl finishes her graduation.
Scheme benefits
Once she finishes her studies, the scheme provides the girl with over one lakh rupees. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that the process is online and clear. Families do not need to go to government offices to apply or get payments. This digital system updates data regularly to improve financial access and help daughters in Delhi feel confident.
