Centre to fund Himachal Pradesh heliports under UDAN scheme
Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu will fund heliport construction across Himachal Pradesh under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme. This follows a meeting with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in New Delhi.
Kangra airport expansion
Authorities need to finish a techno-economic feasibility report to expand Kangra Airport within two months. The state government finished the land acquisition for this project. The Union ministry also agreed to hand over security at Shimla Airport to Himachal Pradesh Police.
