Annapurna Yojana Payments Begin for 1.45 Crore Women in West Bengal

Payments for Annapurna Yojana have started. Eligible women, totaling 1.45 crore, will get ₹3,000 each. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said 1.8 crore applications were sent in between June and July 31. In North Kolkata, 76,817 women are already verified, and money is being sent to their bank accounts.

A new portal launches on the 20th of this month. Use this site if you did not get your payment or need to report someone who is not eligible. If you have technical trouble, contact local Mahila Morcha leaders for help. The Chief Minister asked wealthy citizens to voluntarily forgo their benefits. This helps more women who are in real need receive financial support.
