Aushadhi Avam Sugandhit Fasal Shetra Vistar 2026 details
Scheme is run by Horticulture and Food Processing Department of Madhya Pradesh. Main aim is to increase the land under medicinal and aromatic crops in the state, so that farmers get a second income source apart from normal grain crops. Since the crops are short duration and suit the local climate, farmers can plan them along with their regular farming.
Money is given as a cash subsidy after the crop area is checked by the horticulture staff. Payment reaches the farmer through DBT payment in the bank account linked with the application.
Apply online for the scheme
STEP 1 - Open the MPFSTS farmer portal of the Horticulture and Food Processing Department at mpfsts.mp.gov.in and pick the farmer section for horticulture schemes. The apply link is also given on the department page for this scheme.
STEP 2 - Click on New Registration if you are applying for the first time, and enter your mobile number. An OTP comes on the same number, put it in the box to verify.
STEP 3 - Fill your name, village, district, Aadhaar number, land details with Khasra number and bank account details in the form. Keep the spelling same as your bank passbook so the payment does not fail.
STEP 4 - Choose the scheme name Aushadhi Avam Sugandhit Fasal Shetra Vistar, then choose the crop you want to grow and the area in hectare.
STEP 5 - Upload scanned copies of the required documents and submit the form. Note down the application number shown on the screen. Later, the local horticulture officer visits and checks the field before the grant is approved.
Farmers who find the online form hard can also go to the district horticulture office and apply with help from the Rural Horticulture Extension Officer.

Who can apply
Rules are simple and open for every farmer of the state. Before applying, check these points.
- Applicant should be a farmer of Madhya Pradesh with land in his or her own name, and all categories of farmers are covered.
- Farmers holding a forest rights patta can also apply using the patta copy in place of the Khasra record.
- Benefit is given only one time to a farmer under this scheme, so plan the crop and area carefully before applying.
- Area taken for the grant has to be at least 0.25 hectare and cannot go above 2 hectare.

Keep soft copies ready before starting the online form, because the portal asks for uploads during the same session.
