Jharkhand government has announced to start Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana (Krishak Pathshala) 2024 during his Independence Day speech on 15 August 2021. The state govt. led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren will launch a new agriculture scheme for the welfare of the state’s farmers. Jharkhand Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana 2024
CM Hemant Soren mentioned that this year, we are bringing in a new scheme titled Samekit Birsa Gram Vika Yojana cum Krishak Pathshala. In the first phase of the scheme, one agriculture farm in every district will be selected. Each district will be provided with the following things:-
- Various state-of-the-art technologies
- Tools of modern-day farming for horticulture, livestock rearing and pisciculture
- New irrigation techniques
Through Jharkhand Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana, the farmers will also be provided training and will be empowered to increase their incomes.
समेकित बिरसा ग्राम विकास योजना इन झारखण्ड बजट 2021-22
समेकित बिरसा ग्राम विकास योजना के तहत प्रत्येक जिले से ग्राम का चयन करते हुए बिरसा ग्राम के रूप में नामित किया जायेगा। इस योजना के अन्तर्गत किसान सर्विस सेंटर की स्थापना कर कृषक समूह को प्रशिक्षित करते हुए कृषि के विभिन्न आयामों से जोड़ते हुए कृषकों को बाजार उपलब्ध कराया जायेगा, जिससे कृषकों की आय में बढ़ोत्तरी होगी। इस हेतु आगामी वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 में 61.00 करोड़ रुपये (एकसठ करोड़ रुपये) का बजटीय उपबंध प्रस्तावित है।
Utilization of Farms / Unutilized Cultivable Land
After the announcement of Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana, the state department of agriculture, animal husbandry and dairy development on 16 August 2021 said finer details of the scheme are still being chalked out. An approximate budget of Rs 60 crore has been allotted for the समेकित बिरसा ग्राम विकास योजना for the ongoing fiscal.
Under the Jharkhand Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana, there is a proposal to utilize the farms owned by the state agriculture department or bring any unutilized cultivable land, which is owned by the state government, into use.
Opening of Centres for Farmers Training
There will be classrooms for the farmers where they will be taught by experts who will be hired via a third party implementing agency. These centres will provide training and hand-holding in various disciplines to the farmers under one roof. This will in turn give the farmers the much-needed exposure.
CM Hemant Soren also said 2 lakh farmers of the state have been sanctioned loans worth Rs. 587 crore under the Birsa Kisan scheme, which was launched on 9 August 2021. The state government aims to increase the contribution of agriculture-related activities in the state’s GDP to 20% from 12%. Jharkhand government is aiming at providing grants of Rs. 147 crore to over 62,000 farmers under the Pashu Dhan Yojana. Moreover, efforts are also underway to set up model cold storages having a net storage capacity of 5,000 metric tonnes in various districts.
