edudel.nic.in – Online Registration / Apply for Nursery / KG / 1 Admissions in Sarvodaya Vidyalaya

Delhi Government is inviting online registrations/application for the admission against vacant seats of Nursery / KG / Class 1 in Sarvodaya Schools through its portal edudel.nic.in. Admission process in entry level classes started from 1 March 2023 and information about seats was displayed at gate outside of sarvodaya vidyalaya on 24 March 2023. It has now been decided to admit students manually on First Come First Serve Basis in all govt. sarvodaya vidyalayas from 24 April 2023. Interested candidates can go to school itself to seek admission against vacant seats for Nursery / KG / Class 1 for 2023-2024 academic year.

edudel.nic.in – Apply Online for Nursery / KG / 1st Admissions

The apply online process had taken place for Nursery / KG / 1st admissions in Govt. Sarvodaya Vidyalaya b/w 1 March to 24 March 2023. The interested applicants had to register themselves for the online applications at the official website of Directorate of Education at edudel.nic.in. Now admission against vacant seats are invited through notification released on 18 April 2023 which can be checked here – http://www.edudel.nic.in/upload/upload_2023_24/270_dt_18042023.PDF.

Below is the step by step procedure to apply online for nursery / KG / 1st admission in Delhi government schools.

How to Register / Apply Online

STEP 1: Visit the official website at edudel.nic.in.
STEP 2: Click on the “Govt. School Admission” link as given in the below image.

STEP 3: On the next page, click on “Online Registration form to Apply” or directly visit the online application / registration form page.

STEP 4: Fill all the mandatory details in online application / registration form as given below.

STEP 5: Fill the school choices and preview the form and then submit and take a printout.

The applicants can also re-print or delete the registration form using the Reprint Link | Deletion link.

Age Limit

The application forms of only those children will be considered for admission to

• For Pre School (Nursery) – Less than 4 years as on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought.
• For Pre Primary (KG) – Age of child should be 4+ and less than 5 years as on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought.
• For Class 1st – Age of child should be 5+ and Less than 6 years as on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought.

Eligibility

Those children who live within the vicinity of 1 kilometre radius are eligible to apply for admission at the Sarvodaya schools. However, in case a Sarvodaya school is not available within 1 km radius, residents who are within 3 kms of the radius will also be eligible. Children who are divyang, asylum seeker or  belong to a migrant family will not be denied admissions if essential documents are unavailable at the time of the submission.
