Eligibility Criteria for Haryana Old Age Pension Scheme
Any person who wants to apply for this pension should meet a few basic conditions set by Haryana government. These rules make sure the money reaches people who really need income support.
- Age of the applicant should be 60 years or more on the date of application.
- The applicant should be a domicile and permanent resident of Haryana, with at least 15 years of stay in the state.
- Total yearly income of the applicant and spouse together should not go above ₹3,00,000.

- Age Proof: (Any one of the following)
- Birth Certificate.
- School Certificate of either 5th class or 8th class or 10th class as well as School leaving certificate issued by the Head Teacher of Primary School, Head Master/Head Mistress of Middle/High School along with copy of school record on basis of which the certificate has been issued. The copy of such record attested by Head Teacher/Head Master/Head Mistress.
- Driving License issued prior to 16.06.2016.
- Passport issued prior to 16.06.2016.
- Pan Card issued prior to 2005.
- Voter card issued or traceable prior to 2005.
- Name of applicant in the voter list that shows photograph prior to 2005.

- Note:- If none of the above documents are available with the applicant, the applicant must go to the DSWO office and write a letter to the District Social Welfare Officer. The District Social Welfare Officer can then refer the case to a team of two doctors in the civil hospital of the district to assess the age of the applicant.
