Lunch Box Scheme 2024 is going to be soon launched by the Telangana government. In this scheme, the state govt. will provide meals to those pregnant women who are going for treatment in government hospitals in the state. The main objective is to improve the health of pregnant ladies as well as unborn children.

The state govt. of Telangana will soon launch Lunch Box Scheme 2024 for pregnant women. In this scheme, all the pregnant ladies from different villages will be provided with meals including curry and egg while on their visit to the hospital. The government believes that delays in treatment at the hospital can lead to pregnant women not eating rice or nutritional food, which can damage their health and affect their unborn child.

After its implementation, the number of IP and OP patients have increased in hospitals, along with institutional deliveries.
