J&K SEHAT Scheme 2024 had been rolled out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26 December 2020. Jammu and Kashmir SEHAT Scheme 2024
Central government officials have kept all arrangements in place for effective roll out of J&K SEHAT Scheme 2024 by PM Narendra Modi. The Union govt. officers would also ensure that the process of card distribution is expedited so that maximum people take its Sehat Scheme benefits. The J&K Sehat Card would be prepared after successful registration of people which can be done in the manner below.
J&K SEHAT Scheme Registration – Apply for Sehat Yojana Card through CSCs
Chief medical officers (CMOs) will expedite the process of J&K SEHAT Scheme Registration so that no family is left out. The officers would utilise the services of the Common Service Centre (CSCs) operators effectively for successful implementation of Jammu and Kashmir SEHAT Scheme. People can simply go to the common service centres near them and can apply online for Sehat Yojana card with the help of CSC operators.
Even the central government has constituted a committee to complete the database of residents of Jammu and Kashmir and Kashmiri Migrants, who were missing from Socio-Economic Caste Census-2011 so as to implement the SEHAT scheme. As per the order, for the procedure of inclusion of a family, any head of the family, having a valid Domicile Certificate, whose family is not figuring in the SECC-2011 data and who is desirous of enlisting his family in the database can make registration for this health scheme.
Around 1 crore people of the Jammu and Kashmir region who were still uncovered under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme would now be covered in J&K SEHAT Scheme. The inclusion of such a large section of population in health insurance has been made possible with the abrogation of article 370 in J&K.
Ayushman Bharat – PM Jan Arogya Yojana in J&K
Regarding the Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojana, the financial commissioner Atal Dulloo has given directions to the officers to see that all Indoor Patient Department (IPD) cases are registered under J&K SEHAT Yojana besides COVID patients.
The financial commissioner asked the administrators and principals of different medical colleges to utilise the services of Arogya Mitras effectively so that maximum people are covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Atal Dulloo also directed the managing director of the J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited to keep medicines available for the hospitals so that the public does not face any inconvenience.
