Under this scheme, girls from poor families and daughter of widow / destitute women, sports women and orphan kanya will receive financial assistance for marriage. हरियाणा सरकार ने राज्य में आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग के परिवारों की बेटियों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री विवाह शगुन योजना (Haryana Mukhya Mantri Vivah Shagun Yojna – MVSY) चलाई हुई है। अक्सर गरीब परिवार के लोग अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति के चलते अपनी बेटियों की शादी नहीं कर पाते और उन्हे अपनी बेटी बोझ लगने लगती हैं। इसी परेशानी को हल करने के लिए लड़कियों को उनकी शादी के लिए राज्य की सरकार ने 11,000 से 51,000 रूपये तक की आर्थिक सहायता देने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री विवाह शगुन योजना (Haryana Mukhya Mantri Vivah Shagun Yojna – MVSY) चलाई हुई है।
इस सरकारी योजना (Mukhya Mantri Vivah Shagun Yojna Haryana – MVSY) से यह सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा की राज्य की सभी गरीब परिवारों की लड़कियों को सम्मान मिले और उनके परिवारों की बेटियों की शादी हो सकें। इस योजना के तहत गरीबी रेखा के नीचे जीवन बिताने वाले BPL परिवारों और अनुसूचित जाति (Scheduled Caste), जनजाति (Scheduled Tribe) एवं पिछड़ा वर्ग (Backward Caste) के लोगों को इस योजना का लाभ मिलेगा।
हरियाणा मुख्यमंत्री विवाह शगुन योजना – सहायता राशि
इस योजना के तहत दी जाने वाली अनुदान राशि (Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana Assistance Amount) निम्न्लिखित है:
- 51000/- रुपये की अनुदान राशि (Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana Assistance Amount) विधवा महिलाओं की बेटियों की शादी की लिए मिलेंगे। जिसमे से 46,000 रूपये शादी से पहले और 5,000 रूपये 6 महीने के भीतर शादी का प्रमाण पत्र दिखाने पर मिलेंगे। अगर प्रमाण पत्र नहीं दिखाते तो बाकी के पैसों का भुगतान नहीं किया जाएगा।
- 41000/- रुपये का अनुदान गरीबी रेखा नीचे रहने वाले SC, विधवा, तलाकशुदा, निराश्रित महिलाओं, अनाथ के बच्चों को प्रदान किए जाएंगे। जिसमे से 36,000 रूपये शादी के समय पर या उससे पहले दिये जायेंगे और बचे हुए 5,000 रूपये 6 महीने के अंदर-अंदर शादी का प्रमाण पत्र दिखाने पर दिये जायेंगे।
- 11000/- रुपये का अनुदान जनरल श्रेणी, पिछड़ा वर्ग के लोगों को मिलते है जिसमे से 10,000 रूपये शादी से पहले या उसी समय पर और बाकी के 1,000 रूपये शादी का प्रमाण पत्र दिखाने पर दिये जाते हैं। पर इस श्रेणी के आवेदक यह ध्यान रखे की उनके पास 2.5 एकड़ से ज्यादा जमीन नहीं होनी चाहिए।
- महिला खिलाड़ी (कोई भी जाति या कितनी भी आय हो) की शादी पर उसे सरकार द्वारा 31,000 रुपये दिए जायेंगे।

आवेदक रजिस्ट्रेशन फॉर्म भरने से पहले यह जांच ले की वह इस योजना के लिए योग्य है या नहीं:
- आवेदक हरियाणा का स्थायी निवासी होना चाहिए।
- दुल्हन की आयु 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक होनी चाहिए।
- दुल्हा की उम्र 21 वर्ष या उससे अधिक होनी चाहिए।
- इसका लाभ केवल एक परिवार की दो लड़कियों को ही मिलेगा।
