Delhi government is preparing a new free coaching scheme for Dalit students to study for UPSC (IAS/IPS), IIT-JEE, NEET and other competitive exams. Draft work has started in the SC/ST/OBC/Minorities Welfare Department, and a formal announcement is expected soon. The plan is to cover tuition fees at empanelled coaching centres and may also include a small stipend for daily needs. Stronger checks and better clarity will be used so money reaches real students.
Important: Earlier free coaching scheme Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana which was started by AAP government has been discontinued and is not taking new students. It had faced payment and process issues at some coaching centres and is now closed.
What is Delhi Free Coaching Scheme (New – Coming Soon)
