Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched a new Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) portal apcmrf.ap.gov.in to invite donations. CMRF is intended to extend a helping hand to the distressed people affected by natural calamities, road accidents, fire accidents, loss of life of kin & kith, health problems among others. The contributions /donations are exempted under Income Tax Act.
Interested people who wants to donate can directly visit AP CM Relief Fund portal and make their contribution to help the people in this adverse and most needy situation. CM Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy appeals individuals to come forward and do their best to provide support to the families affected by the COVID-19.
People of AP state are facing problems in their survival during COVID-19 pandemic time as most of the businesses are shut due to virus outbreak. So, the govt. wants that rich people must come forward to help poor people.
AP Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) – How to Donate Online
In this hour of distress, donors can extend their helping hands to the poor people of Andhra Pradesh. All the people can contribute and make a significant difference by supporting the ongoing relief efforts. Below is the complete procedure to clarify the process of making donation to AP CM relief fund:-
- Visit the official website of AP CM relief fund at https://apcmrf.ap.gov.in/
- At the homepage, click at the “Donate Now” tab to open the AP CM Relief Fund application form which will appear as shown below:-
- Here candidates can enter their name, e-mail ID, mobile number, donation amount.
- Candidates can choose any payment method as described below and click at the “Proceed” button to make their contribution for relief fund.

The resource for the A.P. Chief Minister’s Relief Fund is gathered by voluntary donations from any person, NRIs, Service Organisations, Industrialists, artists, writers etc and aim is to provide immediate relief to the people in distress. The donations made to the A.P.Chief Minister’s Relief fund is eligible for 100% exemption from Income Tax under section 80G of the Income-Tax Act,1961(PAN No.AAAGAO132Q).

AP CM Relief Fund – Donation Modes / Payment Methods
Donors can choose the option of their choice to make transactions and contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund at apcmrf.ap.gov.in. You can donate through the following payment methods:-

- Unified Payments Interface (UPI)

Note- All International Donors are requested to use HDFC and AXIS options in payment gateway page for donating.
The donations may be sent through Online /Debit card/ credit Card/ Demand Draft/ Cheque. The Cheque / DD sent in favour of “C.M. Relief Fund of A.P.” along with personnel details like Name and Address of the Donor, Phone Number, email address and purpose of donation etc addressed to the Special Officer to Hon’ble CM, Ground Floor, Ist Block, A.P. Secretariat, Velagapudi. For Online transfer, the receipt will be generated immediately on credit of the amount contributed to the fund . The funds of CMRF is being administered by Revenue Secretary to the Govt of A.P Amaravathi .
