Antyodaya Anna Yojana covers 8.79 lakh beneficiaries in Jammu and Kashmir
On January 1, 2025, 8,79,112 eligible people are covered under Antyodaya Anna Yojana in Jammu and Kashmir. Government officials announced a plan to provide 6 free domestic LPG cylinder refills every year to these families.
The subsidy amount goes directly into the bank accounts of eligible families through Aadhaar enabled DBT. The government is now looking into how to roll this out and what it will cost.
