uredaonline.uk.gov.in – Uttarakhand Solar Water Heater Subsidy Scheme 2024 Online Applications: Uttarakhand Government has launched a new portal for accepting the online application for Solar Water Heater Subsidy Scheme 2024. The portal will help state residents apply for the scheme at their comfort sitting in their home. Solar water heater scheme is a new scheme launched by Uttarakhand government in order to reduce usage of electricity water heaters.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Solar Water Heater Subsidy Scheme Portal at the Chief Servant Sadan in Dehradun on 20th July 2024. The portal, accessible at uredaonline.uk.gov.in, facilitates applications and grants for the Solar Water Heater Grant Scheme.

Solar Water Heater Subsidy scheme offers a subsidy of 30-50% on the installation of solar water heater plants for both domestic and non-domestic consumers. Additionally, the portal facilitates applications and grant issuance under the scheme, aiming to make the process more efficient and transparent.

Key Features of the Scheme

  1. Objective: To promote the use of solar water heaters and reduce dependency on conventional energy sources.

Interested people can apply online for Uttarakhand’s solar water heater subsidy scheme at uredaonline.uk.gov.in, below is the complete procedure.

STEP 1: Visit the official portal at uredaonline.uk.gov.in.

STEP 2: The homepage of UREDA Online website will look as below, now click on the “Apply” button.

STEP 3: Now on the next page, you will see a drop-down where you have to select “Solar Water Heater Subsidy Scheme” as shown in the below image.

STEP 4: After selecting the scheme name, click on the “Proceed” Button as shown in the below image.

STEP 5: After clicking on the “Proceed” button, you will reach on the apply online page with the application form of the scheme as below.

STEP 6: Now, in the application form, fill all the details carefully and correctly and click on the Save and Proceed button. Remember to upload “Equipment Invoice” and “Installation Photographs“.

STEP 7: On the next step, check all the details carefully and enter other required details such as bank account details, aadhar details for subsidy transfer and complete the application by clicking on the submit button.

You have to pay application fee online for successful application, after that URDEA Officers will visit to your place for physical inspection, with prior information through SMS/Portal.

After successful field inspection, you will be eligible for subsidy disbursal and subsidy will directly be transfer to you bank account.

After completing the other details, your application will be completed and you will be given an application number, note this application number for future reference.

Eligibility for Solar Water Heater Subsidy Scheme

Below is the eligibility criteria for Uttarakhand’s solar water heater subsidy scheme.

  1. Applicant should be the resident of Uttarakhand.
  2. Applicant should be owner of the installation premises.
  3. Applicant should have a UPCL connection.
  4. Applicant haven’t applied previously for this scheme.
  5. For the Domestic applicant the maximum subsidy disbursal limit is 500 LPD and for Commercial it is 2000 LPD.
  6. The subsidy will only be given for the systems installed on or after the date of Office order for subsidy disbursal i.e. 17.11.2023.
  7. 100 rupees per 100 LPD is the Fee for application on SWH subsidy scheme.
