Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Beneficiary Concerns and Updates

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched Delhi Lakshmi Yojana on August 26 at Talkatora Stadium. This scheme gives monthly money help of ₹2,500 to eligible women in the city. The government reports that almost 9.5 lakh women signed up since the website started on August 1, but there is some political disagreement about it.

Eligibility and registration details

AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj says strict rules are stopping many women from getting benefits. The Chief Minister explained that there is no last date to sign up for this ongoing scheme. Women who signed up by August 24 will get their full August payment on September 1. The government already sent verification letters to the first 2,500 people.
