Chhattisgarh paddy procurement system achieves national benchmark status
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that state paddy procurement is a national model. This system buys at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and sends money directly to farmers' bank accounts.
Government data shows lakhs of farmers benefit from this process. Chhattisgarh procures the highest quantity of paddy at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) in the country.
