Centre releases ₹77.98 crore for 755 senior citizens' welfare projects
Centre released ₹77.98 crore in grant-in-aid for 755 projects under Integrated Programme for Senior Citizens (IPSrC), part of Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY), for financial year 2026-27. The amount was released for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment said this, according to a PTI report.
IPSrC supports institutional care and related welfare facilities for older persons.
