Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has launched the Langera Housing Scheme 2025 in Barmer district to provide affordable houses for families in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG) categories. This scheme is registered under RERA No. RAJ/P/2025/4145.
Flats Available
According to the scheme details, the following units are available in Langera, Barmer:
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 80 flats, approx. 8.61 lakh each
- LIG (Lower Income Group): 120 flats, approx. 16.30 lakh each
These are planned as one-bedroom flats with proper facilities and infrastructure.
Application Dates
- Start Date: 20th August 2025
- Last Date: 20th September 2025
- After the last date, RHB will publish a provisional list of eligible applicants.
- The final list of eligible candidates and the lottery draw date will be announced on the RHB official website.
Application Process
- Online Application Form:
- Applications can only be submitted online through the official RHB website – rhb.rajasthan.gov.in.
- The registration fee must be paid online while filling the form.
- Registration Fee:
- EWS Applicants: ₹7,070 + processing and GST charges
- LIG Applicants: ₹15,150 + processing and GST charges
- Mode of Payment:
- Payment can be made directly online through internet banking, debit card, or UPI.
- Offline challan payment is also possible at IDFC First Bank (Kasturi Plaza, Jodhpur).
- Reservation Categories:
- Certain flats are reserved for government employees, SC, ST, OBC, military personnel, freedom fighters, and other special categories as per rules.
- Applicants claiming reservation must upload valid certificates along with the application form.
- Allotment Process:
- Allotment will be done through lottery draw among eligible applicants.
- After the draw, successful applicants will be required to pay the allotment amount as per schedule.
- Advance Payment:
- EWS applicants must pay ₹15,000 in three installments before allotment.
- LIG applicants must pay ₹30,000 in three installments before allotment.
- Payment Structure:
- Allotted flats will require 45% payment as down payment and the remaining 55% through loan/EMI option.
- Delay in installment payments will attract penalties as per rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen and at least 18 years old on the last date of application.
- Applicants or their family members must not already own a house/plot under any government housing scheme.
- PAN card and Aadhaar card are mandatory.
- Special reservation requires submission of caste, service, or disability certificates.
