Students studying in all government universities, government aided and non-aided colleges and Sanskrit colleges of Odisha government will be considered eligible to get scholarship under this NUA scholarship scheme. Under this scheme, students will get an annual stipend of ₹9,000 and female students will get an annual stipend of ₹10,000. Similarly, an annual scholarship of ₹10,000 and girls of ₹11,000 has been provided to SC/ST and construction workers’ sons.
The ‘Nua Scholarship’ money for the current academic year will be directly transferred to the bank account of the eligible students from 20th February till the end of the month. For this, a fund will be created from the next academic year with a corpus fund of ₹3 crore and high scholarship amount will be given from this fund to the students who have excelled in education and various fields.
