What is PM Mahila Samman Bachat Patra Yojana 2023
While presenting the Union Budget 2023-24, FM Nirmala Sitharaman said “For commemorating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a one-time new small savings scheme, Mahila Samman Savings Certificate (प्रधानमंत्री महिला सम्मान बचत पत्र योजना), will be made available for a two-year period up to March 2025. This will offer deposit facility upto 2 lakh in the name of women or girls for a tenor of 2 years at fixed interest rate of 7.5 per cent with partial withdrawal option”.

Just like other post office schemes, the central govt. will invite online application forms for opening of accounts under PM Mahila Samman Yojana. As the Post Office Mahila Samman Savings Certificate scheme has just been announced, so there is no concrete information regarding apply online process. It is expected that the PO Mahila Samman Yojana online registration form would be invited at https://www.indiapost.gov.in/vas/Pages/IndiaPostHome.aspx.
