[Apply Online] Delhi Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme 2024 Registration, Login, List at cmaws.delhi.gov.in Portal

Delhi Government is inviting online application for Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme 2024 at cmaws.delhi.gov.in. The state govt. has started an online application / registration facility for eligible lawyers to avail the benefits of CM Advocates Welfare Scheme. All the eligible lawyers can apply online for this scheme. Even the list of advocates not verified by Bar Council of Delhi is present at the official website.

Online registrations or applications from lawyers has been started by the Delhi Law Department.

Delhi Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme New Advertisement

All the practicing advocates who are enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi and who also are an elector of NCT of Delhi are hereby informed that the process of fresh and mandatory registration under Chief Minister Advocates’ Welfare Scheme for availing benefits of Group (Term) Life Insurance providing life cover of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh only) and Group Medi-Claim Insurance coverage for Advocates and his/her spouse and two dependent children up to the age of 25 years, for a family floater sum assured of Rs. 5,00,000/-(Rupees Five Lakh) will commence w.e.f 16.03.2023.

All interested advocates are required to get themselves mandatorily registered under this scheme, at the website https://cmaws.delhi.gov.in/ w.e.f. 12:00 A.M. on 16.03.2023 till 11:59 P.M. of 31.03.2023.

Who are Eligible for Delhi CM Advocates Welfare Scheme 2024

It is clarified that all those advocates who were earlier registered and whose insurance policies already in force also need to get themselves registered afresh under the scheme.

Below is the complete procedure to make Delhi Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme registration and login:-

STEP 1: Firstly visit the official CMAWS Portal of Delhi government at http://cmaws.delhi.gov.in/index.php

STEP 2: At the homepage, Delhi Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme login form will open. Registered users can make login while new users can click at the “New User” tab.

STEP 3: Upon clicking the above mentioned button, Delhi CM Advocate Welfare Scheme registration form 2024 will open.

STEP 4: Here applicants can enter mobile number, aadhar number and click at “Get OTP” button.

Further, in order tidy premium payment (only in case of Group Medi- Claim Insurance), all the registered advocates are requested to update enrolment number of his/her spouse (in case where both are advocates). In such cases both have to mention enrolment number of his/her spouse. In case of any duplicity of entries, the Law Department shall be entitled to delete the name of one beneficiary (either husband or wife) of Group Medi-Claim Insurance without any further notice to the concerned advocate (s), at any point of time during the period of Insurance Policy.

*Please note that mere registration under this scheme does not confer the benefit of this scheme to the advocate unless his/her Enrolment Number and EPIC Number are verified by Bar Council of Delhi and by the Office of The Chief Electoral Officer, GNCT of Delhi respectively. In case of any discrepancy the decision of Department of Law, Justice & LA would be final.

CM Advocate Welfare Scheme Eligibility Criteria

All the applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for CM Advocate Welfare Scheme 2024:-

• Applicant must be a lawyer who is practicing in Delhi.
• He / She must be enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi.
• Applicant’s name must be present in the voters list of Delhi.

Delhi CM Advocates Welfare Scheme Benefits

All the applicant lawyers of CM Advocates Welfare Scheme would be able to avail the following benefits:-

a) Group (Term) Insurance for practising advocates providing life cover of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs) per advocate.
b) Group Medi-claim coverage for the advocates, their spouse and two dependent children up to the age of 25 years, for a family floater sum insured of Rs. 5,00,000.
c) E-library with 10 computers loaded with e-journals and web editions of e-journals, alongwith printers in all the 6 district courts.
d) Creche facility for advocates and staff employees in each of the 6 district courts.

Delhi CM Advocate Welfare Scheme in Budget

The state govt. of Delhi made a provision in budget for lawyers under the Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme in the previous year’s budget. The lawyers will get group life insurance, family medical claim policy along with other facilities in CM Advocate Welfare Scheme.

All those advocates who are practicing in Delhi, registered with Delhi Bar Council and are also in voters list of Delhi will be able to apply for Delhi CM Advocate Welfare Scheme. IT department has released the Delhi Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme online application form on the law department’s website.

Law department is also going to interact with all bar associations of Delhi. Moreover, Delhi Law Department will also send information by SMS to registered lawyers of Delhi Bar Council. The last date to apply online for CM Advocate Welfare Scheme must be checked before applying online.
