Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme 2024 is going to be launched by the Tripura state government. The OBC Welfare department will implement this new ambitions and aspirational scheme namely Aatmanirbhar Tripura Yojana. Under this scheme, the OBC welfare dept. will provide Rs. 1 crore as loan amount to the people of Other Backward Class (OBC) community. What is Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme 2024
The OBC Welfare Department will start Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme 2024 in which Rs. 1 crore would be given to OBC people to make them self reliant. The Director of OBC Welfare department Kuntal Das in a letter addressed to the District Magistrates has requested them to select beneficiaries under their jurisdiction as per scheme details and the numbers as indicated against the respective district.
“The said list should be sent to the office of the undersigned Beneficiary selection may kindly be made in consultation with the lead bank,” the letter reads.
Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme Eligibility Criteria
All those candidates who fulfills the below mentioned eligibility criteria would be able to get loans under Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme. According to the modalities of Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme, the following eligibility criteria must prevail:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Tripura state.
- Applicant must belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.
- Candidates who are under the Antyodaya, BPL or Priority household families as declared by Food and Civil Supplies Department are eligible.
- Applicants having annual family income less than Rs 1.20 lakh of OBC community will be eligible.
Each eligible candidate would be able to apply online for Atmanirbhar Tripura Scheme to get assistance for their livelihood.
Loan Details under Atmanirbhar Tripura Yojana
The official notification reads “8 percent interest of total loan for 6 years (1 year moratorium period) as above would be borne by OBC welfare department as interest subvention and rest excess of 0.8 percent to be borne by the beneficiary itself. The repayment of loan will be made by the beneficiaries in six years.”
