Maharashtra Orders Help Desks for Matsya Scheme Applicants

Maharashtra Fisheries Minister Nitesh Rane has directed officials to set up help desks at relevant offices for fishermen applying to the Chief Minister Matsya Sampada Yojana through MahaDBT 2.0.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched the online application process on the portal on October 28.

Rane also called for district-wise action plans and public information campaigns, with elected representatives, district collectors and relevant departments working together to reach fishermen in remote areas.

Rane said an online review meeting would be held every Monday morning for one hour to track progress across districts and address implementation issues.
