Haryana Increases Incentive for Modern Sugarcane Farming

Farmers in Haryana can get a higher incentive of ₹5,000 per acre for using modern sugarcane farming methods. The state government raised this money help from ₹3,000 per acre under Sugarcane Technology Mission.

How to qualify for support

This support is for farmers who use the 4-foot row spacing method or the single-eye bud planting technique. Wider spacing helps you use farm machines better and makes field tasks like weeding easier. This change helps local farmers grow more and lowers the cost of manual work.

To get the benefit, follow the official application process and have your land checked. Make sure your land records are current and talk to your local cooperative sugar mill for the latest rules. This state-level incentive is separate from the central Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) of ₹365 per quintal for the 2026-27 season.
