Gorakhpur's Bansgaon Block Secures Top Rank in NITI Aayog Rankings

Bansgaon development block in Gorakhpur took the first position in the Aspirational Blocks Programme Delta Rankings for the January-March 2026 quarter. This result earned the block a cash prize of ₹1.5 crore from NITI Aayog. The region earned full marks by performing well across 39 key indicators covering health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and social development.
