Uttarakhand govt. is going to launch Deendayal Upadhyay Kisan Kalyan Yojana 2019 for small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, govt. will provide soft loans to all the farmers at lower interest rates. This assistance under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Sehkarita Kisan Kalyan Yojana will enable farmers in the hilly areas to earn more income and would also promote mixed farming.

The main aim of Deendayal Upadhyaya Kisan Kalyan Yojana 2019 is to double the farmers income by FY 2022. Farmers in rural areas would also get relief from debt trap and will enable them to sustain their livelihood.

The inauguration of Integrated Cooperative Development Scheme worth Rs. 3340 crore and Deendayal Upadhyay Kisan Kalyan Yojana is scheduled on 14 Feb 2019 in Rudrapur, Udhamsinghnagar in Uttarakhand.

To give a major boost to the agricultural sector and to raise the living standards of farmers, govt. will start 2 new schemes. The name of these two schemes are Integrated Cooperative Development Scheme & Deendayal Upadhyay Kisan Kalyan Yojana. These schemes will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi to realize the vision of Doubling Farmers Income by 2022.

Under this Deen Dayal Upadhyay Sehkarita Kisan Kalyan Yojana, govt. will provide farm loans upto Rs. 1 lakh at just 2% interest rate. All the farmers will have to make repayment of the loan amount within a duration of 3 years. The compounding charges would be imposed after 1 year on the farmer for non-payment of the loan amount.
