CM Yogi Adityanath mentioned that the entire Indian nation is badly affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak. The subsequent lockdown and unlock process has made things difficult in the economic field but has also affected other sectors. Economic equality becomes the basis of social equality. The society with one of its sections becoming strong while another remaining weak will not be able to become self reliant. So, there is a necessity to strike out balance in the society even at the economic level.
During the online VC, the beneficiaries of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadyay Swarozgar Scheme informed CM Yogi that they will use the money for setting up general merchant shops, laundry and dry cleaning, cybercafe and tent house. Under the difficult circumstances due to COVID-19, the UP state govt. is extending financial help to make people self dependent. Moreover, govt. is also committed towards providing employment to labourers.

As a part of this, UP state govt. has already started Atmanirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan.
