UP Free Tablet Yojana 2021 online registration form filling process is going to start at up.gov.in. In this Yogi Muft Tab Yojna, the Uttar Pradesh schools will get tablets with preloaded content, students can check last date to apply now. The Yogi Adityanath led UP government will be providing tablets with preloaded study content to students enrolled in government colleges in 7 aspirational districts.
UP Free Tablet Yojana 2021 Apply Online
Just like Free Tablet Schemes in other states, the state govt. of UP led by CM Yogi Adityanath will invite UP Free Tablet Yojana 2021 online registration form. All the applicants would be required to fill the Yogi Free Tab Scheme application form through the official website of the UP government at http://up.gov.in/ or at a new dedicated portal. The official notification comprising of guidelines along with e-tab scheme apply online process is not out yet.

UP Free Tabs Scheme Issuance to Schools Students
The e-tablets under UP Free Tabs Scheme 2021 will be kept in college library and would be issued to students like books. The state government of Uttar Pradesh had decided to procure 160 electronic tablets in 18 government colleges in these districts. The decision to start distribute free of cost tablets under Muft Tab Yojana is in consonance with the New Education Policy (NEP).
The new National Educational Policy lays stress on the use and integration of technology for education. The Free Tabs initiative is also important in the light of ongoing Digital India campaign which aims at making citizens digitally empowered. The conversion not only brings quality in education but technology also helps in academic reforms.
Eligibility Criteria for UP Free Tab Scheme 2021
Only those candidates who fulfills the below mentioned criteria would be eligible for UP Free Tab Scheme 2021:-
- Applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh state.
- He / She must be studying in any of the government / govt. aided school.
- The annual income of the family of the applicant from all sources must not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
- The applicant must be cleared in all his previous attended examinations i.e he / she must not have backlogs.

Need for Yogi Muft Tab Yojana in Wake of COVID-19
Covid-19 lockdown necessitated online teaching in government colleges. However, students in aspirational districts who are not equipped with smartphones, internet and other e-learning material lagged behind. Aspirational districts are backward on parameters like education, health and nutrition, agriculture, water resources and basic infrastructure. The tablets under Yogi Muft Tab Yojana can be used by students as per their convenience.
The study material will be loaded in tablets given under UP Free Tablet Yojana and will be accessible without internet connection. Each of the 18 government colleges will be given 8-9 tablets during academic session 2020-21. Each tablet will have a 10-inch screen and will have high-resolution quality so that it has no adverse impact on the eyesight of students.
