Flood relief and support steps

Relief work is moving fast, with 4,000 to 5,000 people currently staying in camps. The government is also focusing on helping farmers recover. Camps under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana will start in Sabang to help farmers report crop losses. Also, new houses will be built for the people affected under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Local health teams did a good job responding quickly to treat snakebite cases during the crisis.
