Short Update
Uttarakhand to Open Marketing Outlets for SHG Products

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced a state-level marketing centre at IT Park, Dehradun. This place will show and sell products made by self-help groups (SHGs) from 13 villages. The project helps local makers sell goods like hill spices, honey, handicrafts, and wool items more easily.
Under Chief Minister Udyamshala Yojana, the government helped over 13,000 entrepreneurs, including 8,000 women. The scheme gives training, money help, and technical advice to help rural youth and women create jobs. Also, the government is using the House of Himalayas brand to help local businesses reach more people.
Support for rural livelihoods
The state has seen good progress under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. More than five lakh women now belong to 70,000 SHGs, and over three lakh women are Lakhpati Didis. These steps help reduce migration by creating steady work in rural areas.
