Uttar Pradesh and Japan Forge Healthcare and Skill Development Partnership

Uttar Pradesh will work with Japan to improve health services, medical education, and robotics. Officials met in Lucknow to talk about using the state's young workforce with Japanese technology. This partnership aims to help with labor shortages in Japan while giving local youth work opportunities abroad.

Healthcare and training plans

Plans include a 400-acre Medical Tech Park and special training programs. The state government is teaching the Japanese language and work culture to help doctors, nurses, and technicians prepare for international roles. Medical colleges in the state grew from 47 to over 83, creating a strong start for this work. Officials noted that this cooperation will encourage long-term growth and strengthen ties between the two regions.
