Union Agriculture Minister Approves Rs 605.71 Crore for Rajasthan and Telangana Farm Schemes

Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan approved ₹605.71 crore in total funding for Rajasthan and Telangana. This money comes through Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana and Krishonnati Yojana to help farm growth.

Funding details and state progress

Rajasthan will get ₹340.59 crore, and Telangana will get ₹265.12 crore. The government decided this after checking the action plans for 2026-27 and how states used earlier payments. Chouhan asked Rajasthan to focus on Kisan Credit Card coverage to help farmers get loans more easily. He also liked the Farmer ID and fertiliser distribution system in Telangana. However, he asked the state to work faster on Oilseeds and Pulses Missions.
